Where?

Monte Stella, or Montagnetta di San Siro, the only Milan high ground and sport center for the city. Not only favourite training place for all Milan bikers but also for runners and anyone looking for fitness e wellness, far from city caos but near to downtown. Sports and also families go to Montagnetta to spend time with children in a green area. In the past two international mountainbike races were holded in this area, in 1998 and 1999, two editions with a big audience feedback (about 20 thousand spectators). Nobody till now proposed such a strong event to be approved and also able to gain the patronage from the City of Milan and from the Sport and Leisure Department.

Why a 24h Mtb endurance race?

This kind of event are growing in the mountainbike world because embody the real spirit of this sport: passion, aggregation, ecology and, the first off all, fun. The race becomes a moment to share this values, a right agonism that can join all in a festival. The experience from the 24h of Finale, the number one event, not only in Italy, and from its organizing committee, our important partner in this project, is a quality guarantee. This kind of event represents a concrete social network, not virtual, where people from different social classes, political thoughts, nationality, find common feelings. Thanks to this event Milan will join this values for a cultural and social rebirth. A museum about the story of Montagnetta and mountainbike in Italy will be set: bikes, appearel, photoes and interesting documents.

DEMO DAY and BIKE MARKET

Our event want to be not only a mountainbike race but a real festival, 360° around the bike: shows, concerts and especially an exposition and a Demo bike. This mean a canche for all, not only for journalist like in other expos, to test all the stuff from the factories involved. The bikes tested in the Demo area will be available to everyone in the Bike market besides all kind of accessories and clothes. A big village, open to everyone, where shops, small factories and overy kind of service dealing with mountainbike and outdoor sport will sell their product. An unique event in Italy that will become the bigger mountainbike bazar: an incredible opportunity for operators and public.

CHARITY: ADOPT A BIG

A lot of people from sport and show world are mountainbike fans. A lot of them are joining the charity venture “Adopt a big”: every team could adopt one of them by an on line auction as a team member. All the proceeds will go to the Vialli e Mauro foundation.
